Walking on the lap of the Great Himalayas with the crystal clear view of majestic mountains right in front of your eyes is possible only in the Everest Region. Everest base camp trek is the most awe-inspiring popular trekking trail of Nepal in the world. It is one of the outstanding destinations for adventure trekkers and offers the best opportunity to gain the Himalayan experience. It is designed to fulfill the dream of many trekkers of experiencing the historic route to the base of the world's highest mountain.
The trek along the Everest Base Camp is not only a trek to the Everest Region but also a great opportunity to capture the incredible beauties of the Khumbu region from the viewpoint called Kalapathar (5,550m). You can have a spectacular view of the world's highest mountain Mt Everest (8848m) along with other eight-thousanders including Mt. Lhotse, Mt Makalu, and Mt Cho Oyu from the Everest base camp but for the best view of these mountains, you have to climb up little to Kala Patthar.
Along with the mountain views, this trek also helps you to know about the living style of the world-famous, successful and bravest climbers- The Sherpas. On the other hand, you can spend some time in Sagarmatha National Park watching the beautiful floras and faunas protected in the national park. The trek does not end up here; you can further more visit the local villages, and many monasteries, and enjoy the peculiar landscapes and the hospitality of Sherpas.
